James Littlefair

James Littlefair joined Project Finance Advisory, Ltd. (PFAL) in 2013. He is a registered municipal advisor based in PFAL’s San Francisco office. James has over 18 years of experience structuring and executing complex financial solutions for capital-intensive projects encompassing: infrastructure and P3, power (conventional and renewables), oil and gas, gaming, and real estate (residential, commercial, and industrial).

With a focus on US infrastructure and P3 projects, James has provided debt financing and advised both public and private-sector clients on infrastructure delivery and financing since 2006. James specializes in highly complex financial transactions including capital raising, M&A, restructurings and workout, and remedial advisory services. His experience includes transactions in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Prior to joining PFAL, James was a commercial banker with Lloyds Bank in London, New York, and Los Angeles. In addition to having responsibility for originating and executing new transactions, James also served on Lloyds Bank US credit committee.

James has developed and executed financing strategies for clients in both the taxable and tax-exempt financing markets and for a range of infrastructure asset classes including: government buildings, airports, highways and managed lanes, bridges and tunnels, higher education facilities, water and wastewater and transit and rail projects.
