Baton Rouge Health District unveils new master plan
A team of experts led by Perkins+Will was commissioned by the Baton Rouge Area Foundation to develop a master plan to develop new facilities and infrastructure to cope with increased healthcare demand and traffic congestion. PFAL is proud to have been part of this effort. The team consisted of experts in the fields of planning, health care innovation, emergency preparedness, transportation planning, and innovative financing techniques. The project’s master plan is intended to unify a large portion of Louisiana’s capitol which is home to multiple hospitals, research, and health care facilities that make up 30% of the city’s economic base. PFAL’s role was to identify innovative financing solutions to fund regional mobility and health care improvements.
